We’ve came across quite a number of leaks about Xiaomi’s upcoming devices – the Xiaomi Mi Max and the Mi Band 2. Rumors and leaks were pretty much consistent of the Mi Max, with the phablet sporting a huge 6.4-inch display and possibly a Snapdragon 820 under the hood. The Mi Band 2 on the other hand was flaunted on camera by the CEO of the manufacturer itself, featuring a tiny display which is sufficient enough for a fitness band.
The Chinese OEM, always known for its low priced devices, will be launching a Mi smartwatch some time during the second half of this year. This info was from Liu De, the Vice President and also a co-founder of Xiaomi. Liu De confrimed the existence of a Mi smartwatch at a conference in Beijing yesterday. However, that was all that was revealed by the Xiaomi official.
Given the fact that the Mi Band and the Mi Band Pulse have been selling pretty well, we will be expecting the Mi Band 2 to sell like hot cakes as well. With the upcoming fitness band, MIUI 8 and the Mi Max phablet to be launched next month, it seems like Xiaomi will be having a field day prior to the unveiling of the Mi smartwatch later this year. What do you think?
