Xiaomi Civi: New midranger touted to come with Snapdragon 778G and 120Hz display

On the back of the Xiaomi 11T series’ launch, the brand has announced that they will be introducing an entirely new lineup of smartphones soon, called the Xiaomi Civi.

The new products will arrive in its native China this 27 September and is expected to occupy a slot in the midrange market.

According to Xiaomi’s Weibo post, the Civi is created for an oddly specific demographic of “confident young men” with its “fashionable and diversified” designs.

Based on the posters shown in the Weibo post, the phone will seemingly focus heavily on imaging quality, and design; as for the latter, serial leakster Ice Universe showed off alleged photos of the device itself.

From there, we see the Civi packing an edge-to-edge curved display and a punch-hole camera; onto the back panel, we see the same square camera bump that’s similar to the Redmi Note 10’s. The phone is also long, which is reminiscent of the vivo X60 Pro.

Ice Universe also noted that the phone is expected to pack a Snapdragon 778G under the hood along with a 120Hz display. For imaging, we can anticipate a 108MP lens – and in terms of pricing, the leakster reckons it’ll cost $350 (about RM1,464).

The launch of the Xiaomi Civi is set to happen at 2pm this 27 September – stay tuned on our website as we bring you more updates on this exciting new midranger.
