Xiaomi adds two new colors to the Redmi Note 4 collection

As 2016 comes to an end, Samsung attempted to make up for the loss caused by the Galaxy Note 7 crisis by adding a slew of new color options to its Galaxy S7 lineup, the most recent one being Pearl Black. Xiaomi is seemed to be using the same tactic in order to rake in more profits for one of their mid range devices – the Redmi Note 4.

Currently still exclusive to Xiaomi’s home country China, the Redmi Note 4 replaces the previously launched Redmi Note 3, which is still available in local stores. To recap, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch display in 1080p resolution like its predecessor. Underneath the hood is a decently impressive deca core MediaTek Helio X20 processor clocked at 2.1 GHz, 2GB or 3GB of RAM with storage options of 32GB or 64GB.The camera setup consists of a 13MP rear facing camera and a front facing selfie snapper of 5 megapixels. The phone packs a 4,100mAh battery for all its processing power.

The Redmi Note 4 was previously offered in three color variants – Gold, Gray and Silver. Xiaomi aims to spice things up by adding two more color options to the current collection. The new color variants are Blue and Black, which are wise choices, considering the fact that both colors seem to be on respective rising trends. Let’s hope that Xiaomi will be offering all 5 colors when the Redmi Note 4 arrives to Malaysian shores. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
