Windows’ latest update comes with DirectX Ray-Tracing API

If you own a Nvidia RTX graphics card and are disappointed that you cant experience Ray-Tracing, be sad no more as Microsoft is releasing Windows update that will bring DirectX Ray-Tracing API that will unlock the feature in games that support it.

The Windows 10 October 2018 update will bring other features as well, such as dark theme for File Explorer, send texts from your PC via the Your Phone app, see clipboard history and sync them across devices, new Snip & Sketch screenshot tool and SwiftKey Virtual keyboard on Windows. There are also other bug fixes and optimations but the star of the show is obviously DXR which will enable you to play RTX supported games as well as an improved setup processor for HDR displays.

The update has arrived in Malaysia and if you have not been prompted by Windows to install the update, you can go to the Update section in Settings and press the Check for Updates button.
