Waze users can now check toll prices before starting their journey

Waze just introduced a new feature to its users and this feature is a rather useful one, especially for those who always take tolled routes.

The new Toll Prices feature will reveal the prices of tolls of all the different routes so that Waze drivers can make informed decisions when they plan their daily journeys. This allows them to compare prices between different routes so that they can pick the cheaper ones when needed.

Waze credited the feature to its volunteer community that helped gather the necessary data and share it with the other Waze users. “Until now, Waze was trying to reduce your time spent in traffic – now, we’re also helping our users save as much money as possible by giving them the absolute best choice of routes, based both on ETA and potential costs of tolls along the way,” said Moriah Royz, Waze Product Manager.

The new feature has already been rolled out, so remember to update your Waze app on Play Store or App Store.
