WatchOS 3 introduces faster performance, multitasking, Scribble and new watchfaces

The Apple Watch is about to get a big update with the introduction of watchOS 3, which is unveiled in Apple’s WWDC 2016 today, the new operating system delivers significant performance improvements in app load speeds.

watchOS 3 also sports new features and operation methods that is beginning to feel like using iOS on your wrists, you can simply swipe up from the bottom to access Control Center to access the watch’s settings and pressing the side button will pull up a multitasking screen called Dock, which allows you to switch between apps seamlessly just like how you do on the iPhone.

In addition, watchOS 3 introduces a new way to input text with Scribble, which users can simply draw characters to input text to reply to messages, the feature currently supports English and Chinese as demonstrated by Apple.

Last but not the least, watchOS 3 also has more watch faces and users can now simply swipe to change different styles instead of force pressing on the display. Overall, this is a huge revamp on watchOS and its all about making the Apple Watch more usable than the previous operating system.
