vivo Y77 5G goes official with 256GB storage and 5000mAh battery for RM1299

vivo Malaysia has introduced the Y77 5G smartphone to its young and spontaneous Y series line up, the successor to the Y76 5G now sports a more powerful processor and increased internal storage to 256GB, while retaining a stylish design and all-day battery life with a 5000mAh battery.

The Y77 5G has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display like its predecessor and is powered by a more powerful Mediatek Dimensity 810 processor with 8GB of RAM, which the latter can be virtually expanded up to an additional 4GB RAM, internal storage is also expandable with a MicroSD card. While the 5000mAh battery is a decent upgrade over the previous Y76 5G, the Y77 5G however comes with slower 18W charging instead of the previous 44W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, the Y77 5G sports a 50MP JN1 primary sensor that is claimed to offer superior image quality in various lighting conditions, it is accompanied by a 2MP macro sensor that allows users to take close up subjects as close as 4cm. For selfies, the Y77 5G has a 16MP sensor with AI Face Beauty algorithm, while the camera app supports dual-view video and multi-style portrait for a more fun camera experience.

The vivo Y77 5G ships with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12, it retails at RM1,299 and can be preordered at vivo Malaysia’s e-store, Shopee and Lazada store, customers will receive free gifts worth up to RM597 which include brand collaboration vouchers from Hisense, Rever and Gravastar, a Foomee TWS, 1-year extended warranty and 1-year screen protection.
