The Vivo Y69 will make your selfies right

Vivo might not have the best smartphones out there in the market, but the company is one of the best smartphone manufacturers in terms of smartphone sales on its home soil China. The brand has been selling pretty well in Asian markets too, rightly proving the impact of selfie centric smartphones in the industry. Vivo has yet another selfie focused smartphone that stands out from the rest of its mid range specs.

The Vivo Y69 Vivo’s latest offering from its long line of selfie smartphones. For starters, the phone only sports a mediocre 720p display instead of a 1080p one, measuring at 5.5-inches. Underneath the hood lies a MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage via the micro SD card slot.

Vivo has been known to prioritize on its selfie cameras instead of the rear cameras for its handsets, and the Vivo Y69 is not an exception. On the back you’ll find a rear camera of 13 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture and a more impressive on paper 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The selfie camera will have features such as Group Selfie, Bokeh and Live Photos. The phone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery which is enough for the 720p display and the mid range processing internals.

The Vivo Y69 is currently an India exclusive device and will be sold in the country beginning next month at a price of INR 14,990 (RM 1,001.22).
