vivo Y31 launched in Malaysia: Priced at RM999

The vivo Y31 has just been launched in Malaysia, priced at RM999 for what looks to be a competent lower-midranger device. The phone measures at 6.58-inches and comes with an FHD+ IPS LCD Halo FullView display. There’s a drop-notch camera in the middle of the top bezel. Over on the back, you get two 3D Dazzling finishes – Racing Black, and Ocean Blue. The overall design of the phone is reminiscent of the vivo V19 with its curved back panel and rectangular camera housing. For imaging, the phone comes with a triple camera setup – a 48MP main lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you get a simple 8MP front shooter. The phone touts a Super Night Mode feature which allows for brighter low-light photos. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 662 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support of up to 18W of fast charging. The Y31 runs on FunTouchOS 11 and comes with features such as Audio Booster which allows you to ramp up the volume up to 73 decibels without crackling; plus, gamers also get to enjoy Multi-Turbo 4.0 which optimizes the phone when gaming to minimize stuttering.
