vivo Y20s G: An online-exclusive phone launched with the Helio G80 chip

Just yesterday, vivo released the new vivo Y20s G that is powered by a Helio G80 chip and a 5,000mAh battery. This is one of the few vivo phones that are only available for purchase online.

The vivo Y20s G and Y20s are basically twins.

The Y20s G comes with a 6.51-inch Halo FullView display that pushes HD+ resolution, and this is accompanied by a waterdrop notch and thin bezels. Similar to the Y20s, the Y20s G is also available in Obsidian Black and Purist Blue. In fact, they’re of the same size and weight.

They even have the same camera setup!

Imaging-wise, the Y20s G doesn’t differ from its sibling — it uses a 13MP wide lens paired with a 2MP super macro lens and another 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you have an 8MP selfie lens with features like Face Beauty, Portrait Light Effects and a wide range of filters. 

What’s different? The processor.

Apart from housing a gaming processor, the Y20s G also come with the HyperEngine Game Technology that enhances your gaming experience by optimising your CPU, GPU and memory. You also get 18W of fast charging — juicing up the 5,000mAh battery to 70% will require 69 minutes. If needed, the Y20s G can be used for reverse charging too.

The vivo Y20s G is priced at RM749, but you can get for RM100 cheaper during its promo period from May 3 to May 16, 2021. It can be purchased from vivo’s E-store and its official store on Lazada and Shopee.
