Vivo Malaysia is starting the new year on a high note with the launch of its flagship smartphones, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. These models are a significant step forward in the smartphone industry, offering professional-grade photography capabilities coupled with exceptional performance.

The X100 series enhances the vivo ZEISS Co-engineered Imaging System and is powered by the advanced Dimensity 9300 and a customized imaging chip. This combination promises an unmatched user experience. Despite their high-end features, Vivo has managed to price these smartphones affordably for Malaysian consumers, with the X100 Pro available at RM4,599 and the X100 at RM3,499.

Mr. Mike Xu, Vivo’s Chief Executive Officer, emphasizes the balance of imaging capabilities and powerful performance in the X100 series. He expressed confidence that the new series would elevate the user experience with superior camera upgrades and a stronger battery.

In terms of camera technology, the collaboration with ZEISS introduces several groundbreaking features. These features are enhanced by innovations like the Floating Elements Design and Optical Precision Calibration. Similarly, the X100 comes equipped with a 50MP VCS True Color Main Camera and a 64MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera. Both models benefit from the ZEISS T* Coating, which enhances light transmittance and color accuracy.

The series also stands out in portrait and night photography, supported by ZEISS bokeh effects and the customised Vivo V3 Chip in the X100 Pro. This chip enables features like 4K Cinematic Portrait Video and extensive post-editing capabilities.

The Vivo X100 series marks a leap in portrait photography with the introduction of ZEISS Multifocal Professional Photography, enabling users to capture professional portraits at various focal lengths. The addition of ZEISS B-Speed Style Bokeh adds a unique, vintage elegance to images.

In terms of performance, both models are equipped with the Dimensity 9300 and optimized for gaming and visual experiences. They feature large capacity batteries with advanced charging technologies, striking a balance between endurance and efficiency.

The latest Funtouch OS 14 in the X100 series enhances user experience with improved performance, personalization, and security features. The design of the X100 series is both elegant and durable, featuring a stainless steel ring around the camera module and available in Startrail Blue and Asteroid Black for the X100, and Startrail Blue for the X100 Pro.

The Vivo X100 (16GB+512GB) is priced at RM3499, and the X100 Pro at RM4599. Pre-orders begin online on January 4, 2024, and in-store on January 6, 2024. Customers pre-ordering the phones can enjoy exclusive freebies, including screen protection and Vivo accessories.
