Vive has unveiled the highly anticipated V9 to the Malaysian market, a phone that comes with a FullView display and a 90% screen to body ratio which comes with a range of AI features that adapted to the specific user’s needs.
The previous leaks proofed to be true, as the phone comes with a 6.3-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Even with its large screen ratio, the phone has a nice 3D curve back that sits easily in the palm of your hand, and offers easy access to the top of the screen. However, the biggest feature of this phone is the cameras on the front and back. By utilizing the power of Artificial Intelligence, Vivo has offered a great photo taking experience. The front houses a 24MP shooter and the back is a dual 16MP+5MP setup. The camera comes with features like an AI-powered Super HDR feature that detects the surrounding to provide a better picture, with vivid colours, better detail and better tones. The HDR feature merges multiple frames to cater to more extreme lighting scenarios.
Othe than that, it comes with an AI Face Beauty which has been trained by recognizing one million faces which allows it to adapt and apply the ideal level of beautification for your selfies. There is also AI Selfie Lighting which offers natural lighting effects like Natural Light, Studio Light, Stereo Light and Monochrome Background. Together with AR Stickers, it adds an extra layer of fun when it comes to customizing your selfies.
Unlike the Vivo V7, the V9 has ventured into the mid-range market, as it comes with a Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Powering the device is a 3260mAh battery and it comes with Android 8.1 alongside the Funtouch 4.0.
The Vivo V9 will be available in Pearl Black and Gold from 31 March 2018 at all Vivo retail outlets and authorised resellers nationwide.
