vivo V50 launches in Malaysia from RM1999

vivo has officially unveiled the V50 smartphone in Malaysia, this is one of the models within the V50 series and it features upgraded portrait capabilities than before with the Aura Portrait Lighting 2.0 ring light.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the vivo V50 features 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, it has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz and boasts 4500 nits of peak brightness, the phone is juiced by a 6000mAh BlueVolt battery and supports 90W wired fast charging, all of these impressive hardware are housed in a durable body that’s IP68/IP69 water and dust resistant, a significant upgrade over the vivo V40.

In terms of cameras, the vivo V50 feautres a dual 50MP ZEISS cameras on the back that does wide and ultrawide angles, the cameras are capable of doing ZEISS Portrait Styles up to 50mm of focal length, while the Aura Portrait Lighting 2.0 ring light brightens portraits with adjustable brightness and auto color temperature.

What’s also new is the front 50MP camera that also features ZEISS optics, which ensures clear selfies in low light with lesser light glare, it is capable of taking 4K videos at 30 fps.

The vivo V50 is available in a signature Ancora Red color in collaboration with BONIA, while other colors include Mist Purple and Satin Black, the phone starts at RM1899 for the 8GB+256GB model, RM1999 for the 12GB+256GB model, and RM2399 for the 12GB+512GB model, preorders of the phone will begin today while customers can enjoy free gifts worth up to RM1355.
