You may have heard of the Vivo V17 Pro and its six camera lenses – yes, six. We mentioned that the upcoming upper mid-ranger would be on its way to local shores soon.

Well, Vivo has confirmed that it will indeed arrive on the October 1 – continuing the smartphone launch fest of September.

Ok, so before we move forward, Vivo markets it as six lenses, but really it’s four back cameras and two selfie lenses. As a recap, you’ll find a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP setup at the back, while at the front, a duo of 32MP and 2MP.

The device is said to sport a 6.44-inch display which will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It’ll be powered by a 4,100mAh battery which charges via USB Type-C.

The previous V15 and V15 Pro phones were surprise performers when they launched earlier this year – although it weirds out that its successor is coming so soon, we’ll definitely welcome it. With Android 10 on the horizon for third-party manufacturers, the V17 Pro looks set to reliable workhorse.
