Vivo performed exceptionally in Asia and Chinese’s Q3 market

The Q3 results of Asia market is out and Vivo has made it into the Top 5 smartphone brands that have shipped the most phones in this quarter.

The regional smartphone market share was led by OPPO with 16% of the share whereas Vivo and Huawei have the similar results of 15%, which surpasses both Xiaomi and also Samsung. Vivo also managed to lead in China’s Q3 smartphone market where is achieved a 15% growth rate by selling 20 million smartphones in this quarter alone, earning the company a 19.2% in China’s market share.

According to reports, Vivo is able to maintain their sales while some of the other smartphone brands dropped their sales because of the Vivo NEX, the flagship smartphone released this year. The sales of the NEX which contributed to Vivo’s success is due to the flagship smartphone being the first to come with an elevating front camera which resulted in its full-display screen with no notch whatsoever.

The Vivo NEX is also a smartphone with a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED display that supports in-display fingerprint unlock, and Vivo said it’s a smartphone that has a speaker with no visible holes as the sound vibrations are sent through the screen display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. In addition, the NEX houses a 8MP front camera and a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera, and it has a hefty 4000mAh battery.

Vivo has definitely come a long way, and it is great to know that the company has managed to achieve such remarkable results in Q3.
