Vivo NEX 2 is rumoured to be launching on 11 December and the leaks and rumours have shown that the phone might be getting two display screens.
The NEX 2 will be notchless thanks to the two screens, but unlike its predecessor that used an elevating slider to hide the front camera, the NEX 2 will completely remove the front camera. This is because the triple cameras on the back of the phone can now be used as a viewfinder for selfies and videos. The ring that can be seen at the back of the phone houses the cameras, and previous teaser indicated that the ring will have RGB lighting.
Besides that, the NEX 2 is expected to come with a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED display and equipped with the Snapdragon 845 processor. It is also expected to have up to 10GB RAM and 128GB storage, but let’s just take that with a grain of salt. The phone is also expected to come with a bigger battery capacity due to the higher power consumption of dual-screen, but some are also expecting power-saving back screen in case Vivo decided to skip the bigger battery.
The NEX 2’s leaks also showed that the phone will be using a USB-C port and will still get a headphone jack. It will be coming in two colours that looked like purple and blue, but other than that, the price and availability is yet to be known. All we can hope for now is that the rumours are spot on and it will be launched on 11 December so that we find out what the NEX 2 is really capable of.
