vivo Malaysia officially unveils vivo T1 series value gaming phones, priced from RM699

vivo has officially entered the gaming phone space with the introduction of the all new T1 series smartphones, while these phones aren’t on par with the ranks of the Black Shark 5 or ROG Phone 5, they come with decent specs at a very attractive price tag that budget gamers will most definitely find it welcoming.

Vivo T1 5G

Retailing at RM1299, the leading vivo T1 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor, 8G RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. While it might seem like a common specs sheet like the rest, vivo has in fact enhanced the performance of the phone by expanding its heat dissipation area by 32,923mm² and including a 2,097mm² vapor chamber, which efficiently cools down the phone for a consistent performance when gaming for long durations.

The T1 5G’s performance is also further enhanced by Multi Turbo 5.5 that takes advantage of AI technology to automatically allocate resources across the processor, memory and system depending on the tasks you do, it will also support Extended RAM 2.0 that lets you run more applications in the background.

Gamers are treated to a 6.44-inch 90Hz AMOLED display that can display 1300 nits of brightness, a Z-Axis linear motor that offers 4D vibration in gameplay, and a 0.9cc large sound chamber that delivers an immersive sound experience. Camera wise, the T1 5G employs a triple camera system that comes with a 64MP f/1.79 primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide and a macro lens. Overall, the vivo T1 5G sold in Malaysia is a more powerful variant than the one that’s sold in India.

Vivo T1x

For those looking for a more affordable alternative, the vivo T1x will also offer sufficient firepower for a smooth gameplay with a Snapdragon 680 processor, it comes in memory configurations of 4GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB. Surprisingly, it has a larger 6.58-inch display that refreshes at 90Hz albeit being an IPS panel, which could be favorable to some budget gamers out there compared to the T1 5G.

On top of that, the vivo T1x will still have a 5000mAh battery with a slower charging speed of 18W, it also employs a more modest triple camera system that comprise of a main 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro and depth camera.

For its more modest specs sheet, the vivo T1x will be priced really affordably from RM699 for the 4GB+64GB model and 899 for the 8GB+128GB model, while it comes in a very attractive design with colors of Gravity Black and Space Blue, which should make it a compelling choice for budget phone hunters.
