Vivo Malaysia is set to launch new T series smartphones

Vivo Malaysia has teased on its Facebook page that it is introducing the T series smartphone to the Malaysian market, the T series are essentially a refresh of its mid-range V series which have launched in markets like China and India, which at this time of writing, there are two models in the series – the T1 5G and T1x 5G.

The Vivo T1 5G is a capable phone that’s equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor, a 6.67-inch 120Hz display, a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging and a 64MP primary camera. On the other hand, the T1x 5G is a lower spec device that will come equipped with a Mediatek Dimensity 900 processor, a smaller 6.58-inch 120Hz display and retains the same 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

Judging by the look of these phones, they look pretty stylish and will most certainly shine in the sea of mid-range phones in the market, however it is unclear if Vivo will actually bring in these two devices with the same specs, as we know the company usually brings in different variants of their devices despite having the same model name, these phones also run on Vivo’s more recent Origin OS skin based on Android 11 in China, but we won’t be surprised if they will be preloaded with FunTouch OS when it launches here.

Despite these speculations, we will be looking forward to what Vivo Malaysia has in store for us and do stay tuned to this space for more updates on these phones.
