With the success of the Vine app back in 2012, gaining more than 200 million active users and acquired by Twitter, it was a shame that the app had to shut down in 2016 after Twitter struggled to find a way to make money out of the app.
But things might take a turn for better as Vine co-founder, Dom Hofmann, has officially announced that he will be releasing a new looping video app in March 2019, which will be called as “Byte”.

Similarly like Vine, the new Byte app would also feature looping videos. Though there isn’t much that was disclosed from Hofmann’s Twitter post, this is an exciting news for Vine fans world wide after calling for a return of their beloved app ever since Twitter shuttered it.
