Users report various graphical glitches on the 2016 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop

Looking to get the new MacBook Pros within the next couple of weeks? You might want to hold off on the purchase for now as early adopters of the new MacBook Pros are reporting various graphical glitches on their new laptops.

Reports from multiple forums and websites indicate that the glitches are currently occuring mostly on the 15-inch model of the MacBook Pro. These graphical glitches includes artefacts, flickering and tearing happening on the MacBook Pro’s screen.

According to a poll done by 9to5Mac, it appears that the graphical glitches occur more commonly on the 15-inch MacBook Pro that comes with the Radeon Pro 460 GPU. This has led many to speculate that the glitches are potentially caused by a faulty GPU. Alternatively, the glitches could stem from software or driver problems.

No one has quite pin down the cause of the glitches occuring on the new MacBook Pros and Apple has yet to release a statement on the issue as the U.S. was celebrating Thanksgiving over the weekend. As the Thanksgiving weekend is now over, we expect Apple to figure out the problem that is plaguing the new MacBook Pros within the week.
