[Update] Huawei P9 to land in Malaysia next week; pricing revealed

If you’ve been waiting patiently for the P9, you’ll need to wait just a little bit longer as Huawei’s latest offering will be descending upon Malaysia as early as next Saturday.

Co-engineered with renowned German camera manufacturer Leica, the Huawei P9 features a dual-lens camera that is able to capture photos with better clarity, brilliant colour, as well as Leica’s signature striking black and white images.

While the pricing of the device won’t be revealed until this coming Friday, Huawei has confirmed that Malaysia will be receiving the standard P9 as well as the P9 Plus, both of which will be offered in Prestige Gold, Titanium Grey, and Mystic Silver colours.

To those who purchase the P9 or P9 Plus, Huawei will also be offering its Standard Premium Service. This service will allow P9 owners to exchange devices one-to-one within the 12-month warranty period, free door-to-door pick-up and delivery service, a one time use three-month LCD screen warranty that begins on the proof of purchase date, two free cleaning services within the 12-month warranty period, as well as a dedicated VIP hotline service.

Update: Both the Huawei P9 and the P9 Lite will be available next Saturday (28th May). The P9 will retail for RM 2,099, while the P9 Lite will be available for RM 1,099. Pre-orders for the device will be available on VMall this Monday. The first ten customers who pre-order and fulfill the payment from the 23rd to the 27th of May will receive an Honor Band Z1 worth RM 269 for free.
