There is a new Chromebook being developed behind closed curtains with the codename Cheza, which is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. This Chromebook is made to go against the Windows 10 ARM laptops which has still not firmly planted their flag in the education and enterprise market.
With the Snapdragon 845 processor, this makes the Cheza the most powerful Chromebook ever produced. In addition to that, based on its source codes, the Cheza will be a detachable device, comes with a USB-C port that supports video out, a WQHD display but some reports say that it might very well be a 4K UHD display and it will support LTE via the X20 modem. Prior to this, we have only seen Chromebooks running on ARM chips from MediaTek, Intel Atom and Celeron processors, it is definitely a nice change seeing Google equipping the latest Chromebook with the latest Snapdragon processor, aside from the Snapdragon 850 processor which is for Windows 10 devices.
