Uncharted 4: A Thief's End officially released in Malaysia

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was released on Wednesday. In order to celebrate the occassion, Play Interactive has held a launch event/roadshow at Sunway Pyramid.

On the day of the midnight launch, over 500 people showed up to the event to collect their copies of Uncharted 4. While waiting for midnight, attendees were treated to various activities such as a mini shooting range, photoshoots with a Nathan Drake cosplayer, Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 game demos, as well as a Spin N Win activity.

The main highlight of the entire event was the midnight launch of course, as a queue begun forming at around 9pm. Once the clock struck midnight, the game was made available for pick up and Farzan Mihanzadeh was the first person in Malaysia to own a copy of Uncharted 4. “I can’t believe that I am actually the first person waiting in line! The Uncharted series is one of my favourite games on PlayStation of all time and I am extremely happy and proud at the same time to be the first person to receive the official game copy as it launches in the country,” says Mihanzadeh.

Besides the game launch, attendees were also treated to a lucky-draw post-launch where they stand to win entrance tickets plus return flight to the Tokyo Games Show 2016, a limited edition Uncharted 4 PlayStation 4 Console bundle, and many more.

The Uncharted 4 Roadshow will be held until the 15th of May.
