Unboxed images of the OnePlus 5T are up

The Lava Red OnePlus 5T will be going on sale in China this 17 December in conjunction with the 4th anniversary of OnePlus. This special edition handset is slated to hit select regions worldwide as well. But for now, we have come across some unboxing images of the OnePlus 5T with a new paint job.

Based on the first image above, we can confirm that the Lava Red OnePlus 5T will come in the same retail box as the regular Midnight Black variant. Other images mostly showcase a closer look at the device itself, which can be found at the source link below. All the hardware buttons such as the volume rocker, power button and alert slider are in Lava Red as well. The OnePlus logo is in black, and definitely stands out more with the Lava Red model than on the Midnight Black model. The subtle antenna lines are in a brighter shade of red.

The specs of the Lava Red OnePlus 5T are retained from the regular variant – a 6-inch Full HD+ display at 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 835 with 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage and a 3,300mAh battery. Do you prefer the Midnight Black or Lava Red model of the OnePlus 5T?
