U Mobile gives you free data quota usage on Waze

It seems that we can start expecting something new every week from U Mobile from now on, CMO Jasmine Lee has just announced on Facebook that the growing orange telco will offer users free data usage on Waze, the community social GPS app is very actively used among drivers here to get to their destinations safely on time with its real-time traffic feature. While Waze generally doesn’t use up a lot of data, it is good that U Mobile has come out with this initiative help users save that few megabytes of data, which continues to show the telco’s commitment in offering competitive data services.

There’s no activation required, all you need to do is to be a U Mobile subscriber with an active data plan (you should be technically!), fire up Waze and starting routing to your destination. For more info, head on to www.u.com.my. If you haven’t been aware, the telco has also recently announced an unlimited data roaming plan in 12 countries for postpaid users, read about it here.
