Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey, who started up Twitter approximately ten years ago in 2006 had his own Twitter account suspended. The situation caused both Twitter and Jack Dorsey to be the laughing stock for nearly 3 million Twitter users. The account was allegedly suspended for a good 15 minutes before Twitter unbanned Dorsey’s account.
Despite the situation making Twitter a possible candidate for the joke of the year, Twitter has recovered its CEO’s suspended account in a short period of time. What are the odds of the maker of Twitter having his own account banned by his creation? We’re not certain as to whether any Twitter employees were fired in the process, but Jack Dorsey is officially back online again on Twitter.
Upon the reactivation of his account, Dorsey posted a tweet stating, “just setting up my twttr…again (account suspension was an internal mistake)”, but did not state the specific cause of his account being suspended. Whether or not it is just an accident or an internal bug, we do hope that the people involved in the situation are still keeping their jobs because Jack Dorsey definitely looks like a cool person. What would you do if you were in his shoes?
