Not too long ago, Tumblr was taken down from the Apple App store due to child pornography issue but Tumblr has made a comeback and has restored its place in the Apple App store after they’ve announced the banning of adult content on its platform two weeks ago.
“And while Tumblr hasn’t openly admitted that the Apple ban was the inciting incident for announcing the ban on NSFW content, the timing of the events would seem to imply that either Tumblr itself or its corporate owners were at least somewhat concerned about the loss of those millions of iOS users,” via The Verge.
Tumblr’s ban won’t be enacted until 17 December 2018, which means Tumblr users are still able to surf the site with adult content before they proceed with its content purge.
