Transparent Razer Phone 2 to hit the markets

A day ago, Razer announced its second ever smartphone, the Razer Phone 2, hoping to further attract avid mobile gamers and geeks alike with some notable improvements over its previous iteration. We now have news that the Razer Phone 2 will come in another color option on top of the two we’ve known.

The Razer Phone 2 now sports a full glass back instead of aluminium, which still exists in the frame of the phone. This means that the phone is now capable of wireless charging. Currently offered in Satin Black and Mirror Black versions, the new Razer smartphone is said to soon be available in a transparent version, although no date or time frame has been confirmed.

With the likes of HTC and Xiaomi having launched transparent editions of their existing smartphones, it will be interesting to see Razer do the same as well, coupled with the fact that the company boasts some other hardware eye candy such as the Razer Blade. Not to forget, the Razer Phone 2 now features a backlit RGB logo on the back, which combined with the transparent design will be eye catching altogether.

The Razer Phone 2 comes with other worthy upgrades, including Razer’s signature Vapor Chamber cooling system, flagship internals, an improved camera package and IP67 rated water and dust resistance.
