Tinder, possibly the most popular matchmaking service of all time, can now be accessed not only from mobile devices via the app, but via desktops as well. Before this, Tinder was only available as a mobile app on both iOS and Android platforms, but the company has decided that it should take matchmaking to the next level, to the web that is.
Tinder Online is the web version of the Tinder mobile app, which works the same for the most part. Everything is pretty much identical, except for the availability of the swipe gesture, which the Tinder app has been known for. Tinder Online doesn’t have paid features such as Super Like and Tinder Boost as well. The web interface of Tinder Online looks a little similar to WhatsApp for Web, whereby your messages will appear in the tab at the left and your potential matches will take up the rest of the screen on the right.
Just like its mobile counterpart, Tinder Online will require you to log in to Facebook, but if your worries are related to your private data on your desktop browser, Tinder has promised that it will only collect your location data and not anything else. Tinder Online is currently being tested in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, and Sweden. It will rollout globally after that.
