This Samsung flip phone will be the next best thing

Flip phones may be the trend of yester-year, but a couple of smartphone manufacturers have made their attempts in hopes of reviving the trend from the days of the Moto RAZR phones. Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy Golden 4 will wow the consumer market when it launches. According to Sam Mobile, Samsung has been working on the next refresh of the Galaxy Golden series.

Codenamed “Veyron” after the Bugatti Veyron sports car, the Galaxy Golden 4 carries the model number SM-W2017. Sam Mobile reports the clamshell device to sport two 3.9-inch Super AMOLED displays in HD resolution, the same Exynos 8890 SoC from one of the Galaxy S7 variants, also possibly the same 12MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.

The Galaxy Golden 4 is also said to have the same build as the Galaxy S7, with a glass and metal construction. However, it cannot be confirmed as to whether the former will be IP certified like the latter which has an IP68 rating. Unfortunately yet again, the Galaxy Golden 4 will most probably be a China-exclusive handset like its predecessor, the Galaxy Golden 3. What do you think?
