The ZTE Warp 7 features okay specs for a good price

ZTE has been busy expanding its empire, most notably in the United States, making deals with various carriers to push its devices out at very affordable price points. The company has announced yet another budget handset, with alright specs, but gets the job done. Meet the ZTE Warp 7, the latest addition to the company’s long line of smartphones.

For starters, the ZTE Warp 7 sports a 5.5-inch HD display, not Full HD, hence it only sits at a resolution of 720p. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass, so that’s one thing to note. Underneath the hood, the handset runs on a unspecified 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, expandable via micro SD. In terms of camera, the Warp 7 features a 13MP rear camera which is capable of capturing 1080p video and a 5MP selfie shooter which should be sufficient for good selfies. One plus point which you don’t normally get in phones these days is the Warp 7’s 3,080mAh removable battery. Having said that, the battery capacity should provide excellent battery life considering the fact that the handset has a 720p display.

The US-exclusive smartphone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and will only be available with Sprint subsidiary Boost Mobile, with its carrier plans starting September 5th. The ZTE Warp 7 comes at an attractive and affordable price of $99.99 (RM406.24), and for its price point, you probably wouldn’t complain about what you will get.
