The ZenFone 3 Max is an expensive looking phone with a long lasting battery life, available now at RM999

The previous Zenfone 2 Max was a rather disappointing one, while it offers a huge 5000mAh battery inside, the hardware built is cheap with a disappointing entry-level specs sheet. Therefore, ASUS has finally gotten serious this round with the new ZenFone 3 Max, the successor model to its battery life champ smartphone now features an all new metallic design that can be easily mistaken as an HTC smartphone, it now features a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 4100mAh battery, while having a significant loss of weight at 175 grams. As for its reduced battery size, its pretty self explainatory as the processor is a rather efficient one.

In other hardware aspects, the ZenFone 3 Max has a beautiful 2.5D contoured 5.5-inch display with a 1080p resolution, 32GB of stoage capacity that can be expanded with a MicroSD card, a 16-megapixel f/2.0 main camera with laser autofocus and 3-axis electronic image stabilization, an 8-megapixel front camera, and interestingly, ASUS has installed a pretty decent ICEpower enhanced speaker with a built-in Audio CODEC, which we should assume it to be a rather good device for entertainment. Sadly, the ZenFone 3 Max still doesn’t sport Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology though it is supported by the Qualcomm CPU onboard, instead ASUS has given a 10W charger in the box that should still charge the phone at a decent rate.

Available in colours of Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, Rose Pink and Sand Gold, the ZenFone 3 Max is immediately available now for the price of RM999, the phone sure looks more attractive this round and we recommend that you take a look at it you are looking for a phone with a lasting battery life.
