The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is now official at RM799

The Redmi Note series have barely disappoint when it comes to performance and value, while most people may be disappointed that Xiaomi isn’t bringing in the flagship Note 2 and Mi Mix, the company has just unveiled the Redmi Note 4 officially today. For starters, the Redmi Note 4 sold in Malaysia is powered by the efficient and well known Snapdragon 625 processor mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB flash storage, users can expand the storage of the phone up to 128GB using a MicroSD card.

One of the most significant changes to the Redmi Note 4 would be its aesthetics, its a lot slimmer than its predecessor at 8.45mm, and all thanks to a slim screen bezel and tapered edges, users will experience a better grip when held on hand. While the Redmi Note 4 still look very similar to its predecessor, Xiaomi has now included a 2.5D curved glass on its 5.5-inch Full HD display, its main camera may have been downgraded to take 13-megapixel stills, however Xiaomi claims to have larger pixels that offers better low light performance, the selfie shooter however remains as a 5-megapixel camera, battery size has been bumped to 4100mAh with no support for Quick Charge 3.0.

The Redmi Note 4 can be purchased starting today over at the Mi Official Lazada Store at the price of RM799, it is unfortunately only available in one color option of Gold, so if you want more color options, the grey import market is probably your best option but be very careful of those devices out there, as they might come installed with spyware of sorts.
