The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro goes official with penta 108MP camera for less than RM2,000

The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has been unveiled in China yesterday, and as you have already know, it packs five cameras at the back.

It’s got a 108MP main lens that’s powered by a Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. Besides being the highest resolution smartphone camera right now, standard images are shot at 27MP resolution instead of the regular 12MP. So you can expect sharp images all around. Also a plus are four LED flashes that come in pairs.

Accompanying the main lens are two telephoto cameras. One of which is a 5MP shooter with OIS and 5x optical zoom; the other is a 13MP lens that’s designed for portrait mode. There’s also a 20MP ultrawide camera that shoots up to 117-degree shots. Completing the line-up of lenses is a 2MP macro shooter. Over on the front is a 32MP selfie lens too.

The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has a 6.47-inch curved AMOLED display that pushes FULL HD+ resolution. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 730G with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone is powered by a massive 5,260mAh battery that supports up to 30W PD fast charging.

It ships with MIUI 11 based on Android 9, not 10, and will be available in Aurora Green, Glacier White and Midnight Black. The phone is priced at CNY 2,799 (RM1,650) for the 6GB+128GB variant, CNY3,099 (RM1,827) for the 8GB+256GB variant, while a Premium Edition version of the phone with an 8p lens is also available for CNY3,499 (RM2,063). There’s no word yet on when it’ll be arriving in Malaysia and if it’ll be rebranded as the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, but stick around on our website for more updates.
