The Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 features a QHD AMOLED display

Vodafone has announced the Smart Platinum 7, which the company claims to be the first premium 4G+ smartphone, offered together with its Vodafone’s own telco plan in the UK. Let’s just say this phone means business.

First off, the Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 sports a beautifully impressive 5.5-inch AMOLED display at QHD resolution, flanked by stereo front facing speakers. The handset features a Snapdragon 652 processor, which is pretty much at the peak of the mid range spectrum, plus 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via micro SD. The Smart Platinum 7 packs a 16MP PDAF rear facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture, coupled with an 8MP selfie camera, both boasting their own flash modules on the front and back of the device respectively.

The Smart Platinum 7 is powered by a 3,000mAh battery, with a 2K screen being a tall order for battery, but Vodafone claims it to last up to two days. The handset is being sold for a price of £300 on Vodafone’s Pay As You Go. The UK company is also offering a £28/month package with unlimited calls and texts, 1GB of data plus 500MB of roaming data with the Smart Platinum 7. Sounds like a sweet deal for the folks in the UK.
