The Vivo V15 Pro is officially available for pre-order in Malaysia at only RM1,799!

If you’re looking at the mid-ranged phone that won’t burn a hole in your pocket, Vivo has just launched the Vivo V15 Pro in Malaysia, and it will come equipped with decent specs for below RM2,000.

The phone comes with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display – it has arguably one of the thinnest bezels in the market. This is due in part to the lack of an earpiece – which is embedded into the display – and front-facing camera. But we’ll get to that later.

Camera technology and image quality are Vivo’s biggest calling card, and the V15 Pro doesn’t disappoint. The phone sports a triple-lens setup – 48MP + 8MP AI Super Wide-angle lens + 5MP depth sensor lens. As per usual with Vivo phones, the camera app comes equipped with a list of features – some note-worthy features include a host of AI-assisted modes, “gender detection”, palm capture and more.

What really sets the Vivo V15 Pro is its 32MP front camera which uses a pop-up mechanism, hence the lack of it on the front screen. Upon activation of the selfie mode, a small node will slide upwards from the top right of the display revealing the front camera.

Under the hood, the phone is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. The Vivo V15 Pro ships with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9.0 which is designed based on Android 9.

There are two color options – the Topaz Blue and the Coral Red. The phone retails at RM1,799 and can be pre-ordered from now until March 1. The phone will officially hit the market on March 2.
