ViewSonic’s new mobile projector is probably the most interesting piece of tech that we have come across in COMPUTEX last week, featuring a pair of 3W Harman Kardon speakers built-in, up to 250 lumens of brightness and an impressive 6-hour battery life, the ViewSonic M1 Mobile Projector is finally here in Malaysia for a very affordable price tag of RM1,299.
The ViewSonic M1 has a lot of features to impress for it’s price, weighing at 0.8kg, it has 16GB of built-in memory that you can take advantage to store photos and videos, while it also comes with a number of inputs, including HDMI, USB-C, USB 2.0 and a MicroSD card slot. Unlike other mobile projectors, the projector features a swivel stand that users can easily adjust the projection angle and serves as the lens cover, there’s also no need to replace the lamp like traditional projectors as it uses a solid state LED technology, it will be able to output Full HD resolution with a 120,000:1 contrast ratio, offering a great viewing experience for the cozy living room.
ViewSonic mentioned to me that the projector should last at least 2.5 hours when used at it’s maximum potential, which is still very reasonable considering the amount of features it has. I’ve personally got my hands on it during my time at ViewSonic’s office and suffice to say, this is easily the best mobile projector that I’ve ever come across and will definitely appeal to those who wants to do presentation on the go or use this to watch movies in your room when there isn’t space for a TV.
