The Tecno Spark Go 2023 is a pretty decent RM299 entry-level phone

When you thought most RM299 phones come with crappy hardware, Tecno is about to prove you wrong with the Tecno Spark Go 2023, this phone has a lot to impress for what is priced at.

Sporting a 6.6-inch 720p display, the Spark GO is powered by a Mediatek Helio A22 chipset that’s paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, which is really generous as it offers double the storage of its competitors, storage can also be expanded with a MicroSD card.

Aside from having the regular WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, the Spark Go supports NFC, which is essential for reloading your Touch ‘n Go Enhanced card these days, it even has a USB-C port for charging and data connectivity and rear fingerprint reader that’s located next to the cameras.

The Spark Go comes with two cameras on the back, which comprises a 13-megapixel main camera and secondary depth sensor, while on the front, you get a 5-megapixel camera through a water drop cutout.

Sadly, the Spark Go ships with Android 12 out of the box instead of Android 13 with no guarantee of future software updates, but that’s a very minor compromise that you shouldn’t be complaining for the price you are paying, and you can get the phone now at Tecno’s official store at Lazada and Shopee, it will come in color options of Uyuni Blue, Endless Black and Nebula Purple.
