Aside from the Galaxy S10 series being launched at the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event, Samsung has also decided to launch its long-awaited foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy Fold comes with a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display when it’s unfolded like a tablet, but when you fold it, the device ends up with a 4.6-inch display. With its rather large screen, the Galaxy Fold supports 3-screen multitasking, meaning you can actually run three apps at once on the device.
That aside, the Galaxy Fold sports a Qualcomm 7nm Octa-core processor with 12GB RAM and 512GB of Universal Flash Storage 3.0. There are two separated batteries for the Galaxy Fold, but when they’re combined, the device has a total of 4,380mAh.
The Galaxy Fold also has a total of six cameras. On its rear, it has a triple rear camera with a 12MP wide lens, a 16MP ultra wide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens whereas on its front, the device features dual front camera consisting of a 10MP wide camera and an 8MP depth camera. The last camera falls on its cover so when you fold the device, the 10MP cover camera will be your selfie camera.
The Galaxy Fold is also said to come in two versions: 4G edition and 5G edition. It comes in Cosmo Black, Space Silver, Martian Green and also Astro Blue. The phone will be available in US on April 26 from $1,980 which is around RM8,063.
