The Samsung Galaxy A (2020) series goes live with the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 – starts from RM1,433

The Samsung Galaxy A (2020) series are now live with the introduction of the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 in Vietnam. 

Starting with the former, the Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a punch hole camera in the middle.  Over at the back, the design looks familiar bar the rectangular camera module.

Speaking of which, there are now four lenses placed in an L-shaped setup – here, you’ll find a 48MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, a 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro lens. The device will also offer features like Live Focus, Supe Steady Video and more. 

Under the hood is an Exynos 9611 alongside 8GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage, which you can expand via microSD card of up to 512GB. There’s a decently-sized 4,000mAh battery that charges via USB C with support of up to 15W fast charge.

Moving on to the larger Galaxy A71, you get a massive 6.7-inch display with the same punch hole notch. The back sports a similar look and feel with a four-camera setup too. 

With this phone however, is you get a 64MP main lens instead of a 48MP one. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 730 with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can expand it up to 1TB via microSD card. 

The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports up to 25W fast charging.  Both models will be available in four flavours – Prism Crush Black, White, Blue and Pink.  

The Galaxy A51 is priced from VND7,9990,000 (RM1,433), however there’s no word on how much the Galaxy A71 will cost yet. Also unknown is when the devices will be coming to Malaysia, but stay tuned on our website as we bring you the latest updates.
