The Redmi Note 4 has a 10-core CPU and 64GB of storage

As Xiaomi is set to have its annual product announcement event on July 27, a part of Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone packaging has been snapped in China, which hints that the company will be launching the successor to its not so long ago Redmi Note 3 smartphone, the Redmi Note series of smartphones have always been equipped with very decent high performance hardware and the Redmi Note 4 is no different, if the picture is legit, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 10-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with the ability to expand storage via a Micro SD card.

Apart from that, the Redmi Note 4 will continue to have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 4100mAh battery and rear mounted fingerprint scanner, however what I certainly can’t confirm would be its 13-megapixel main camera, which is a reduced resolution from the current Redmi Note 3, but lets assume for now that Xiaomi could probably fit in a larger sensor on the Redmi Note 4. Furthermore, there are also other speculations that this isn’t the higher end model of the next Redmi Note smartphone and we can expect a faster Helio X25 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, markets out of China could probably receive a Snapdragon chip just like that current Redmi Note 3 as well.

It’s just another week away from Xiaomi’s event and I certainly can’t wait to see what the company is up to, what do you think about it? Let us know.
