The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are official, priced from ¥1,999 and ¥2,499 respectively

The Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro go official in China today, making their debut as Redmi’s first flagship phones.

The Redmi K20 Pro and K20 share many similarities, such as their 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports HDR and has 600 nits of brightness. Both phones come with the new 7th generation in-display optical fingerprint sensor and still sport a headphone jack, in addition to its already known pop-up selfie camera.

The Redmi K20 Pro is however more powerful as it is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset while the K20 is only powered by a Snapdragon 730 processor that supports WiFi 6 and has its own AI engine. The K20 comes in two configurations — 6GB RAM+64GB storage and 6GB RAM+128GB storage, while the K20 Pro has two extra configurations — 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage.

Camera-wise, the K20 Pro comes with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP super wide angle sensor. The K20 also has a similar camera module, though it’s using a different sensor for its main 48MP camera. On the front, both phones have a 20MP front camera.

The phones are also paired with a 4,000mAh battery but while the K20 supports 18W charging, the K20 Pro supports 27W charging. It is also worth noting that the phones are integrated with Game Turbo 2.0 and has an 8-layer graphite cooling technology for extensive gaming without overheating.

The K20 Pro starts at the price of CNY2,499 while the K20 starts at the price of CNY1,999. Indian Express also reports that there will be a Redmi K20 Pro: Avengers Edition that comes with a limited edition gift box.
