The power packed Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro goes official in Malaysia

Remember the China-exclusive Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro? The powerful handset finally sets foot in Malaysia after it was launched and released back in October and November respectively last year in China. Let’s recap on what this overall solid device has to offer.

Although labeled as a mid ranger, the Galaxy C9 Pro is encased in a premium looking all-metal chassis, plus a 2.5D glass display on the front. The display measures in a 6.0-inches, automatically placing the handset in phablet category. Like most of Samsung’s smartphones, it uses a Super AMOLED panel and comes in 1080p resolution, so it won’t fall short in providing vivid colors.

Underneath the hood, the Galaxy C9 Pro sports an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95GHz. Again, although mid range, the whopping 6GB of RAM suggests otherwise. Coupled with that is 64GB of internal storage, expandable to a further 256GB via the micro SD card slot.

The Galaxy C9 Pro features a pretty impressive camera package as well, starting off with the 16MP PDAF rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture. The front facing selfie shooter will bring you great quality selfies as well, also at 16 megapixels, with the same aperture. The phone packs a large 4,000mAh battery and supports fast charging.

The powerful Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro phablet means business, so does its price tag of RM2,299. The handset will be available in Black, Gold and Pink Gold options and will go on sale two weeks from now on March 10 2017.
