The Patriot Viper V770 Mechanical Keyboard has an interesting palm rest

While we were at Patriot’s VIP room in COMPUTEX, we were introduced to the company’s gaming peripheral brand – Viper Gaming, and while most of the products have pretty much in common with other peripheral brands we have seen, the Viper V770 mechanical keyboard managed to grab our attention, it is one of the important flagship products that Patriot has to show off this year for its gaming product line.

The V770 uses 100% mechanical Kailh Red switches, which offers smooth, fast and linear response, there’s 5 dedicated macro keys, dedicated multi-media controls, volume/mute conrtrol wheel, and auxiliary USB and audio passthrough ports built onboard. What’s interesting about it is the magnetic palm rest, it illuminates as you attach it to the keyboard, which I was pretty amazed on how the company managed to do it, though it isn’t going to make using the keyboard much enjoyable, but it is nonetheless an attractive gimmick that is sure to have you set eyes on.

Viper Gaming is set to enter the Malaysian market very soon, it is Patriot’s gaming brand that aims to focus on offering high quality and innovative gaming peripherals with an accessible price point.
