The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro are official; starts at £549

OnePlus is back again with the all-new OnePlus 7T series, revealing the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro and also offering a MacLaren Edition for the pro model.

The OnePlus 7 has a 6.5-inch 90Hz Fluid display that utilises an AMOLED panel with up to 1000 nits of brightness. With a waterdrop notch, the device also has a 20:9 aspect ratio due to its narrow bezels. It’s using matte-frosted glass and comes in Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver, in addition to featuring dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 7T is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855+ chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It also runs on OxygenOS and has a 3,800mAh battery that support Warp Charge 30T — 30W fast charging.

As for the camera, the OnePlus 7T features a circular camera module with a 48MP lens, a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP sensor with auto-HDR and EIS.

The OnePlus 7T sounds great, but its pro model is even stronger. It’s slightly larger with a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display and is integrated with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Just like its sibling, it has a 90Hz display that supports HDR10+.

The OnePlus 7T also comes with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset and 8GB RAM paired with 256GB storage, but if you get the MacLaren Edition, then you’ll be getting 12GB RAM instead. This pro model also has a longer battery life as it comes with a 4,085mAh battery that also supports Warp Charge 30T.

Surprisingly, OnePlus did not use the same circular camera design seen on the OnePlus 7T. Instead, it uses the more common vertical alignment for its triple camera. But of course, it still gets a 48MP sensor paired with an 8MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra wide sensor. As for the front, OnePlus also made sure to include the popular pop-up mechanism and a 16MP selfie lens.

The OnePlus 7T is priced at £549 while the OnePlus 7T Pro is priced at £699. Those who want the MacLaren edition will have to fork out a little more as it’ll cost £799.
