The Nokia X20 retails at RM1599 with a 3-year warranty

While HMD Global has gone incognito in recent times, thanks to the upcoming 007: No Time to Die movie, which got delayed over and over again, the company is starting to gain spotlight by taking preorders for its latest phone – the Nokia X20.

If you have hoped that this is going to be some flagship smartphone from Nokia, you’ll be pretty disappointed.

The Nokia X20 is a mid-range device that comes with a 6.67-inch display with a regular 60Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 480 SoC and paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, the one thing you will probably want to look forward to is the phone’s 64MP ZEISS optics main camera, supported by a 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor.

In other specs, the Nokia X20 comes with a 4470mAh battery that the company claims to have a 2-day battery life, there’s no super fast charging but the regular 18W fast charging should work fine for most.

While the Nokia X20 isn’t affordable compared to the rest of the competition, HMD Global attempts to offer more value by offering an additional year of warranty on top of the phone’s existing 2-year warranty, the phone is also enrolled in the Android One program which offers a clean Android experience guarantees you to monthly security updates and 3-years of OS upgrades from Google.

If you are in for nostalgia’s sake and a big fan of James Bond, though it isn’t the official phone that appears in the movie, the Nokia X20 is can be preordered at the official Shopee store and is only available in the Nordic Blue color.
