The luxurious and sexy Jaguar XF sedan is now available in Malaysia

Jaguar, a renown brand in luxury cars, has just launched Jaguar XF, a luxury sedan that site between the recently launched XE and top-of-the-range XJ. The Jaguar XF presents an outstanding choice if you are looking for a premium business sedan. 

The new Jaguar XF features all the trademarks of a Jaguar, with its pure form, beautiful lines and silhouette. For the Malaysian market, you will get the fully imported Jaguar XF in two different variants – the XF Prestige and XF R-Sport. Should you want a premium ownership experience, you can get it now as every new Jaguar XF comes with Jaguar Care, an exclusive programme that comprises a five-year warranty, five-year servicing and three-year roadside assistance. 

What does the Jaguar XF hold on the inside? Both XF variants are fitted with a 2.0-litre i4 turbocharged petrol engine with a maximum output of 240PS and 340NM of torque and matched to an 8-speed electronic automatic transmission with Jaguar Sequential Shift. In addition to that, both variants also offer advanced car tech such as the JaguarDrive Control,  Torque Vectoring and All Surface Progress Control (ASPC).

The difference between the XF Prestige and the XF R-Sport is based on the target market each variant is speaking to. While the XF Prestige has a more business-like look and feel with its 17-inch Lightweight 15-spoke wheels, perforated leather seats, metal tread plates with Jaguar script and multi-function soft-grain leather steering wheel, the XF R-Sport sports a sport suspension, 18” Helix 10-spoke wheels and R-Sport bodykit, R-Sport branded multi-function soft-grain leather steering wheel and R-Sport branded metal tread plates.

Jaguar has also changed the architecture of the XF by offering an aluminium-intensive architecture to make it 190kg lighter than its predecessor, with a stiffer torsion up to a 28% increase. All these changes creates a better ride, precise handling and better dynamics. 

The price of the XF Prestige is RM450,000, with the XF R-Sport going for RM460,000. Prices include GST but exclude registration, road tax and insurance.
