The Lenovo P2 to go official together with Moto M in Lenovo's launch event

As the press prepares themselves for next week’s unveiling of the Moto M handset on November 8, information from the launch event’s invitation tells us that the Moto M won’t be the only smartphone to see the light when next Tuesday arrives. It seems a like Lenovo branded smartphone will be making its way to the launch event as well.

Based on the invitation to Lenovo’s launch event in Guangzhou, the Lenovo P2 is slated to make an appearance together with the anticipated Moto M handset. Lenovo has pretty much allowed Motorola some liberty when it comes to launching devices under the Moto branding since the latter went under the former’s wing two years ago. The Lenovo P2 is said to be sporting the same 5.5-inch Full HD display and the same mammoth 5,100mAh battery that was rumored to be packed by the Moto M.

Speaking of the Moto M, the handset is rumored to be powered by two different processors for two different variants – China and the rest of the world. The Chinese variant is said to feature a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with 4GB of RAM while the global model will have a Snapdragon 625 processor with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The handset is also rumored to feature a standard camera setup of 13MP and 5MP rear and front cameras respectively.

Till then, we have exactly a week from now till the Lenovo event next Tuesday. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
