If you’re expecting a 5G smartphone from Huawei in 2019, you’ll definitely see one and the best part is that it might come as soon as first half of the year in which Huawei is expected to release the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.

The phones that will be coming with a teardrop notch has much thinner bezels compared to the Huawei P20 series. In addition, leaks have suggested that the phones will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor since renders have shown that the phone will not come with a fingerprint sensor on its front.

The Huawei P20 series was released in March this year and the cameras on the phone is one of its highlights. But around March next year, the P30 series might get an upgraded quad camera setup instead of the P20 Pro’s triple camera setup.

The quad camera setup is rumoured to consist of a 40MP lens, a telephoto lens that can support 10x zoom, a wide or monochrome sensor and a 3D sensor. On the front, the phone will still maintain a single lens front camera.

Besides that, the P30 series are expected to be powered by the Kirin 985 chipset, and has up to 8GB RAM with up to 512GB storage. Battery wise, the P30 series might just remain the same battery size with the P20 series, or maybe get a slight increase.

We’re definitely looking forward towards the P30 series with quad camera setup because the P20 series has been such a success in 2018, hence we’re expecting the extra camera that will appear in the P30 series to be much better.
