The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro has two 40MP cameras that could one-up the Galaxy Note 10

If you’ve been looking forward to the Huawei Mate 30 series, prepare yourself because the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be sporting two 40MP sensors.

The Mate 30 Pro is reported to sport a 40MP main camera and another 40MP ultra wide angle lens. The main camera — despite being spotted in its predecessor — differs in the sense that it has a larger 1/1.55-inch sensor, while the ultra wide angle camera will be of similar size with the P30 Pro’s main camera — a 1/1.7-inch sensor.

Apart from that, the Mate 30 Pro will also get a third telephoto lens which is expected to be of 8MP, similar to the P30 Pro. Since the Mate 20 Pro had a triple camera setup, it’s not entirely impossible if HUAWEI decides to upgrade the Mate 30 Pro’s camera specs and make it a quad camera setup.

In the tweet posted by Ice Universe, the Mate 30 Pro’s sensors are also compared to the Galaxy Note 10’s 12MP 1/2.55-inch sensor, meaning that the Mate 30 Pro might just outperform the Galaxy Note 10 in terms of its cameras.
